It said Book of Spells but they didnt work well
And at thirteen years what did i know

This is back in the days when the civil war raged
and my folks backed a government win
They found the book that i had, thought that i had gone bad
so for my own good they turned me in

I spent three years inside that place
my mind they pried and tried to break

When three years had passed i was let out at last
at 16 went back to my home
All i did there was tell my folks to got to hell
and then left out into the unknown

I ended up down in the caves underground
with the voodoopunks as the war raged
A woman there named Katy Shaw kept me safe
and looked after me all those dark days

I spent three years down in those caves
inside that dark and chilly place
I learned to dream, believe and pray
A new world’s gonna come one day

It was actually me who came up with the plan for Katy to steal the MCG. Inside informants told us where the government hid their top secret plans, but we couldn’t get near it. Katy had told me about how there was a drug that made her go back in time to when the city was just a prairie, so i suggested that Katy take the drug, go back in time and carry a compass. She should walk to the right coordinates and when the drug wore off, bam, she’d be in the secret room. She did, grabbed everything she could find, then took another dose and went back to the prairie. She walked back to the friend’s ground floor apartment where she had started, and when the drug wore off this time, she was back with folders full of top secret information. She had brought back this other random object, this MCG, which she tossed to her friend Mark as thanks for him letting her use his place. And that’s how the MCG was put in play.
