Sanquil Let me tell you something about this album. When I first discovered it from Posthuman War A2, I was o b s e s s e d. Literally listened to it daily, sometimes up to three full plays a day. I cannot describe the way it took over my head in such a wonderful way. Top 5 Shapera albums, and that's a TOUGH competition. Favorite track: Timepiece/Passage Rites.

jd_phoenix The story of Kate's flowering is such a wild ride! And very familiar; I'm willing to be good money that hearing David's backstory is what inspired Lloyd to use recursion as a method to flower others. It seemed to work! Favorite track: Underture.

about

This is part of the early album series: early albums made when i was both young and did not have the studio or skill set i do now. You also have to excuse that the female part, Kate, is sung by young me pitch bending my voice up to designate female. For those who wish to fit this into New Albion lore, it takes place during Raven and Lloyd's 2nd Playhouse. They developed a show called Caravan in an attempt to flower other post humans. It was only successful once or twice, and Kate here would go on to become the Narrator of Dolls. This is that performance.

Cama’s attempt to commune with higher beings failed; she only found Decadent Dottie. Together they roamed, indulging in dangerous forms of psycho-neural self-exploration which Cama hoped would present the key to her people’s further evolution. It only led to her destroying her people so that one of their pets could evolve. She sat in her former civilization's rubble and listened to Paul Shapera. ... more
